PM035V1 Real Time Water Level Alert Monitoring with HydroStatic Ultrasonic and Radar Sensors

PM035V1 (LTE CAT1 ) has been deployed in Sewer, DTSS , Rain Water drainage, Canal, River, Waste Water Holding Tank, Tide Gate for monitoring Water Level and Flood Alert.     Sensor support includes Hydrostatic, Ultrasonic and 80GHZ Radar Sensor.  Locally provision of manpower for installation of sensor including radar sensors into sewer and deep tunnel is supported.

PM035V1 are available in 2 different version:
IP55 Grade with Graphic LCD + USB + Screw Terminal Block
IP67 Grade without LCD + IP68 Circular Connector

PM035 has very low power consumption making it suitable for solar or self powered and drawing only 25mA @12V (without LCD) The RTU support 2 level of low alarm + 4 level of Hi Alarm and offer up to 120,000 datalog (all channel) and support Remote Data Telemetry via 4G LTE Data, 3G HPSDA and 2G GPRS. For SMS the RTU supports up to 40 Phones with individual enable for SMS Alert and health check.

PM035 supports 6 Level Of Alarm (2 Lo and 4 Hi Alarm) and supports 4 level of Level Base Logging Interval that allows you to log data are longer interval and then log at shorter interval if it is above the Hi Level and Hi Hi ALarm Level. The unit will still measures input at 1sec interval and immediately change the log interval instantaneously.

PM035 Level Alert SMS and Telemetry System

PM035V1 is a ultra low power LTE Logger Telemetry very much suited for logging and alert monitoring and real time telemetry.  This system continuously measures water level and detect rising water level when it reach high and critical level in Canal, River, Rain Water Draining, , Holding Tank, Over pump control station, tide gate, Sewage and send alert to users hand phone as well as Sending Data remotely to server.

PM035 is design to handle up to 7 float switches + 2 Analog 4-20mA sensors such as Hydrostatic sensor, Ultrasonic Level Sensor and Radar Level Sensor.  16 bit precision allows very fine measurement as well as RS485 Modbus base digital sensors.
Up to 2 level of low alarm + 4 level of High Alarm can be set to send Alert via SMS.
Up to 4 Level of Input Base Logging interval (2 Lo and 2 Hi) allowing to changes logging interval instantaneously base on input alarm 
Up to 40 phone numbers can be set to receive any alert.

The System has been installed for sewer and Deep Tunnel with Intrinsic safe radar sensor allowing ease of field maintenance and precision in accuracy. And the ability to measure water level inside the manhole with very high flow velocity which is unable to be handle by float switches. The Alert are send when water level exceed High, HighHigh, Criticaland Overflow Level. . In addition the system support real time SMS Query from user mobile phone. User may check the water level discrete and analog actual water level (if level sensor are installed such as hydrostatic pressure sensor, ultrasonic level sensor or radar water level sensor). Many deployed site in Singapore includes construction sites, sewer rehabilitation, waste water holding tank, over pumping system, Canal, Open Channel Drain, Inland to Sea Tide Gate Control Station.

Sewer Level Surcharge Monitoring with Intrinsic Safe Radar Level Sensor

The PM035V1-LCD  (LTE 4G/3G/2G) RTU has a large 128×64 Graphic LCD that shows in real time the IO Status, LTE  Status, SMS Sending Status,  Remote Server Connection, Alarm Status. This save the field service technician a lot of time in the field without having to connect laptop. And giving assurance of the functionalities of the system with direct visual display. Optional GPS allows precision timing and location tracking

PM035 RTU firmware is free lifetime upgradable by user in the field. For even much low power application using smaller solar panel, rs485 level sensors can be use instead of 4-20mA whereas the sensor only consumed 100uA using the RS485 interface on the RTU. PM035V1  can be customized for your multi site project for example to add other sensor such as Rain Gauge, Water Qualities, level and flow projects.

The PM035L GSM Water alert system can operate in the following power mode:

  • Full Power Mode: RTU and LTE Modem  are continuously running, the maximum power consumption is 25mA @12V (non LCD)  allows 10 Days of Standby Battery Power in the event of continuous rain. .
    In this mode the SMS alert are send immediately and user can query anytime. This is the most common usage for real time water level alert and monitoring deployment as surcharge are needed to be notify immediately
  • Medium Power Mode: RTU is running continuously, LTE  is only turn on for sending SMS Alert or data to remote server
    In this mode the LTE  Modem is only turn on when needing to send SMS or daily health check. 7.2AH battery allows 12days and a larger battery can be added for 40 days operational using 24AH Battery. Typically use for battery self powered site
  • Low Power Mode: RTU runs at predetermine wake up interval and drawing only 2mA allowing standby up to 100 days with 7.2AH Battery.

This mode is meant for intermittent logging and monitoring application for example wake up every few hours to check and log data.
This is useful for self powered battery operational where users does site maintenance every 3 months to 6 months.

Real Time Web Monitoring via LTE 4G

PM035V1 allows LTE real time transmission of data in real time or backlog to be send to Testech Web Site for user to view real time reading, view Trend, Table List and export to Excel, CSV or Export as PNG. The RTU will automatically backfill any historic data that were not send with user programmable range from 30 days to 90 days of any unsent data.
