Power
SP200 Peristaltic Sampling Pump requires an external 12 volt DC power source that can supply at least 2 A continuous. The variable speed motor is reversible and can sample at any speed up to 500 mL per minute.
A power cord (10ft/3.05m) is included with the unit. The power cord is fitted with alligator clips for easy connection to almost any 12 volt DC battery, such as a car battery or a small 12V, 5 AH gel cell battery.
Sampling
To provide high sample integrity, SP200 does not allow water samples to contact any peristaltic pump components other than the norprene and polyethylene tubing. This tubing is easily cleaned or replaced. To avoid cross contamination or lengthy decontamination procedures, simply change the inexpensive tubing between samples.
