AquaClear Disposable Bailers
1.6″ Outside Diameter, Rigid and Clear PVC, One Case
AquaClear PVC Disposable Bailers are made of rigid, clear PVC and have been certified by an independent lab to guarantee sample integrity. The bailers are clear, which allows for visual inspection of the contents, and are an ideal choice for groundwater fieldwork. Strict tolerances are maintained on the PVC tubes to ensure the bailers fall directly and do not get caught on the sides of the well.
AquaClear Disposable Bailers are made of rigid, clear PVC that have been certified by an independent lab to guarantee its ability to maintain sample integrity. The benefit of using a clear bailer is that it allows for visual inspection of the sample and are an ideal choice for groundwater fieldwork. The PVC itself also adds a bit of weight allowing for the bailer to descend quicker and a small gain in speed when compared to utilizing a polyethylene bailer.

AquaClear PVC is recommended when dealing with metals and when you require even more durability and weight than a traditional polyethylene bailer.
Check Valves
Single check groundwater bailers have only one check valve at the bottom to retain the sample during retrieval.
Double check groundwater bailers have an additional check valve at the top to eliminate sample contamination during retrieval when sampling at a specific depth (point source sampling.)
Weights
The weights are used to facilitate a more rapid sink rate to decrease overall time required to collect a groundwater sample.
