Introduction
The PM022 is a extremely low power embedded wireless platform design for remote Datalogging Telemetry that is mean to operate automously. The RTU will be in low power shutdown mode and at user set interval it will wakesup to power the process transmitter, log the data and at fixed interval (typically 4 hours) send the data to Central Monitoring station via SMS in PDU Mode This requires the CMS to runs Testech TSCADA Logger Software.
Small power management allows the unit to consume less than 100uA in shut down mode. The RTU is able to resend all unsent data within the last 35 days and will also log data internally in the non volatile for 35 days. Depending on the required log interval, the PM022 is able to log about 9 months of data (hourly basis such as Rain Gauge). Development underway to add a large datalog memory to log up to 10 years of data internally using Flash Memory Devices.
Driverless USB Interface
PM022 was redesign with native USB High Speed Interface with an embedded USB Device Stacks for HID. No RS232C is required.
This is driverless and will runs on any newer PC Operating Systems that will have HID Interface including WIN2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7
FCC/CE Certified GSM/GPRS Modules
PM022 incorporates Enfora Enabler III FCC/CE Certified GSM Data Modem that is optimised for M2M Applications that requires SMS and reliable GPRS Datapacket transmission.
Built In Battery Backed RealTime Clock/Calender
All Event are date and time stamps to record the actual time of alarm. RealTime Clock/Calender has its own Lithium Battery Power Source for at least 10 years of Clock Calender and Alarm Functions.
LARGE DATALOG MEMORY
Optional Onboard Solid State Flash Memory provides 16MBYTE of Datalog memory that is not affected by battery.
