Description

Start your image processing application using the pciGRABBER-4plus FrameGrabber, which easily inserts into a PCI slot on a host computer. SMB sockets enable connection of up to two video sources, all cameras can be connected via a single pin header connector. The operating voltage for the camera, an IC-Bus and a transistor-operated I/O port are also available on this connector. Twelve additional TTL-level I/O signals are available on a second pin header connector row. The pciGRABBER offers a 256 Byte EEPROM for storage of such data as a software protection key and 3 or 9 composite inputs, that can be switched via integrated multiplexers via software. An S-Video input is available for applications with greater requirements in terms of color replication. Digitized images are stored directly in the on-board CPU memory in real-time by the Busmaster-DMA. The included demos and software drivers allow the user to address the Grabber from a user program with simple function calls in DOS, Windows. Example programs and a detailed manual simplify the introduction to the programming phase.
